I’m considering on getting a kitten and want something like this because I live in a small studio… My concern is how is the smell?? I know we obviously have to change the litter box but does your house smell like litter being that it is the living area where you’ll have guests ?

He told the cashier to charge me MORE and I caught them. The manager came out after saying she didn't want to. I made her. I got a full refund. They are slime!

I think it would be better if you switch the fridge and the stove places if possible. I think makes for better circulation and so that the fridge opens facing you when you are standing near the sink (I'm assuming that the hinge is on the right). Also i think you can make better use of the ledge for your dish rack so you can retrieve some counter space.

I’m kinda 50/50 on this. It looks great but I’ve had mine for a year and for some reason the top lid became too big for the bottom and it just collapsed? It will not stay! They need to maybe put some clamp connectors or something? The lid is supposed to sit on top of the bottom rim but it just collapses and makes the entrance small and unstable. Any suggestions? And for the people asking about how to keep litter off the floor I’ve used car mats lol they sturdy and waterproof 😊

You made it work. Hanging baskets for spices - great idea. And, keeping dishes washed and in dish rack only to save on cabinet space - good idea. Why not? You have to wash and dry daily or multiple times daily anyways. It would never be empty.

I wonder if you still live there. I like everything you’ve done. I think like you haha. Love the cats and the coffee and hanging stuff up. I hope you use that blocked cabinet. Anyway, for long term storage. Also, you could get a rolling table/cart for over the cat feeding area. As long as it doesn’t have any low shelves. A tall cart with one higher shelf. You could have a basket or box for all your k cups and free up other spaces. Also, you could put a teeny shelf above those pots hanging. Use every inch!!! Looks great!!!

Seen smaller kitchens . Crowded rooms make me cringe stuff on top of stuff and too many tchotchkes and blocked windows it’s a feng shui gurus worse nightmare but gotta make due with whatever u got so u do u

Wow, as a fellow NYer I can totally relate. Mine is 7x8 and I have everything I need - less waste, less unnecessary appliances, and less to clean!!! I downsized to an apartment 10 yrs ago and I don't miss a big kitchen at all. Enjoy!

I think you did a lot of great work to make this tiny kitchen functional. I wish you could have gone a little more in-depth as to how you managed to hang the rods you showed by the window. It definitely adds more space and charm, but I don't know how you managed to drill something into tile! Thank you for sharing.

It's not really tiny, just has too much stuff in it and is badly planned. Why do you need three ovens and such a big fridge? Why don't you put your crockery away in one of the cupboards? Where do you prep food? Still if you are happy with it that's all that matters.

How do you clezn with all that stuff sitting around? No disrespect, must take time to move it all. A point of concdrn, paper towels in front of electric plug is kind if dangerous.
